Default Nelson Tune $450 or Allan Futral dyno tune $550?

What should i go with, a nelson tune for the 224 112 or the futral dyno tune for the same cam?? Prices in the title. How much difference is there between the two?

A dyno tune will be much better than a Nelson tune. I have heard good things about Nelson's tunes, but a dyno tune will be much more specific to your truck than a mail-order tune. Definately worth the extra $100 IMO.

I agree; for an extra C-note you should get a superior tune. I know Allen is very good but I don't think he can nail a tune like a dyno tuner can.

Or spend another $150 and have the advantage of doing your own tune forever with EFI Live! It kicks ***!

Even if you've never done it before? Does the tuner come with some idea of how to tune? Examples? Acceptable ranges? Scares me given my total ignorance of the subject and what seems like the opportunity for mayhem.

Nelson is a damn good tuner, but if your wanting things perfect, then dyno tune is in order, or you could go one better, and get a dyno tune at his shop!
