Default No crank, truck is crazy

I just swapped in a new motor into my truck due to cyl. #7 checking out, now I have everything hooked up and the starter won't crank, no click of the solenoid either. Now here is where it gets weird, my power seats now only work with the key on, as well as the power locks, the fuel pump doesn't come on at all ever, I can't manually shut off the headlights by turning the switch down, and I can't connect to the pcm with HPT, can't scan, flash, do a vats learn, nothing. I have checked all the fuses, grounds, etc... Can't figure this one out. I am thinking its a pcm or bcm. Anyone ever have this problem?

When weird stuff starts happening, triple check all grounds.

I had a lose ground and my turn signals would start flashing when I tried to start the engine! Speakers would pop too. Weird as hell but all related to the bad ground.

Thanks, went and checked them. I have the one main cable on the side of the block, and the ground strap from the firewall along with a single small wire both to the block by the oil press. sender. Am I forgetting one?

Same thing happend to me. I missed the ground on the back of the motor on the passenger side. It connects to a stud via nut on one of the engine/trans bolts.

I remember having 2 grounds on the back of the motor, but I figured they were for the O2 sensors.

I will triple check the grounds again. And whatever it is, is draining my battery in a matter of 2 hours. I checked to make sure there were no pinched wires, there are none. Thanks for the help

If its draining your battery in a matter of hours you have a short going on some where. There has to be something eating the battery. Maybe a loose PCM/BCM connector? And your sig says it perfect. "If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical issue". You did try the hammer right?

lol, hammer didn't work. The battery is draining because the power isn't getting shut off to everything. The parking lights stay on all the time even with the key off, there is very very quiet humming from the throttle body, kinda like a tv left on with a black screen if you know what i'm talking about.
