Default P0300...man this sucks.

So this Friday on the way home my truck was running fine. I stopped at the store to get a 12 pack, got back in and started the truck up and noticed it was running rougher than usual, but didn't think too much of it.
Had to get up early Saturday for a code update class and the truck was running like ****.
First thing Sunday morning I got up and scanned for misfires which I ended up finding on 4 and 5. Both coils were firing so I put new plugs in 4 and 5...still misfires. I put a meter on the 4 and 5 injectors and much to my dismay, they both read open circuit...great.
Several questions here:
1) Has anyone else had two injectors fail simultaneously?
2) Its going to be about a week before I can get new injectors, and this is my DD. If the injectors aren't spraying at all can I manage to limp back and forth to work without risking damage to internals?
3) Can bad tuning fry fuel injectors?

Turns out my troubleshooting skillz need some work:

Lesson to be learned here (for me anyway) is to slow down and follow all troubleshooting steps before buying ****

Ah by the way, just because 2 cylinders are misfiring at idle doesn't mean both will misfire while logging on the street.

Now that REALLY sucks!! Wow im sorry man...hmmm. If you want to work in a refund im game. I dont like giving people the short end for a miss calculation. I mean if youre ok with keeping those injectors thats all the better but if you want to do another exchange let me know.

Man don't even sweat that...I'm fine with the injectors, never hurts to have extras. I might send them in to have them flowed/balanced at a later date
