Default P0455 + P0446 and trouble pumping gas. What part needs replaced?

The codes have been going on since the fall. Always figured it was just the gas cap. Now it takes forever to fill the tank with gas. What part or parts need to be replaced? Thanks

The Evap Vent Valve may be clogged, it's very common and there's a TSB in refernce to this that outlines replacing the EVAP vent valve and relocating the filter for it up by the back of the block, on top of the trans bellhousing, with 5/8" heater hose. I currently have to do this repair to my 99, tdrumm's 06 Vmax, and Tom fastnblu has to do it to his 04. Search the GM section for the codes you have and I'm sure that you'll find multiple threads in reference to this

If you drive in any sort of dirt or dust you are pretty much wasting your time putting the vent up on top of the transmission. The two cleanest spots I've found are on the left side of the radiator in behind the rubber flaps that go to the core support and the LR corner of the engine bay over by the brake booster. There is a very very slight possibility some fumes could come out the vent so I put it up by the radiator.

Vent valve solenoid kit

Vapor canister

zip ties

5/8 heater hose

4 hose clamps

Thanks. I fixed this a while ago. Just replaced the solenoid. It is definitely in a bad spot and will probably fail again. But it was cheap and easy to replace, so if I can get 80K miles out of each one, I really don't see the need to get to crazy with making a fix for it. Thanks
