i just did the 0411 PCM in my 87 S-10 Blazer that has the L31 from a 97 FSC and all the gauges still work.....the speedo was analog/cable driven and i had to use a Cable X box to convert the electric speed signal to the cable speedo

so doing the 411 swap on the 96-98 trucks, will this allow for more timing adjustments and more fuel adjustments from the poppet injectors.
if that makes any sense. im really confused
it just seems that i am running out of fuel with just a simple hyper tech tuner.
and i am wanting to do the 411 swap, but im just stumped on the pros of the swap.

im really confused because i went from the 5.0 world " swap cam and injectors and maf and upper and lower intake and your **** would run.
to a L31 setup that i will run its off, but i gotta get there on the does and donts
blah blah i feel so retarded because im lost here

the L31 is not a "off the shelf" motor, for the go fast goodys......this motor is custom fab and trial and error......but most of the the goodys are all GM that is the cool thing about the work you do........a lot of forum searching i required for these motors

the 411PCM allows for almost endless tuning and tuning can be done by almost any tuner on the 411.....no one in town can tune the black box i have in town, now that i have the 411 i can get it tuned by almost everyone in town, and anything i do to the motor i can tune for with the 411........i'm looking to the future..that's another reason i did it

efi is suppost to be better. "right"
im just trying to way my options or should i say cost for just doing a lsx swap.
but im some what ole school the L31 was built good and will work good if i can get it right.
i dont want a full out drag truck just a good street performer that people say GOD DOG look at that truck RUUUUUN

i'd stick with the 411, trying to use the 03+ stuff is not worth it in my opinion.
