Poor fuel mileage after DPF delete
I have a local guy that wanted to do a DPF delete, he bought a pipe (not sure which brand but it does have all of the bungs for the sensors).
So I used my HPtuners to tune out the codes and set the DPF to disable and 0.
He did not want me to tune the motor and fuel because he uses a Diablo trinity and likes to be able to change the settings while towing.
So I took his stock tune and did the changes, then he used his trinity and loaded my tune as his stock then loaded his trinity in.
I noticed that the trinity kept the codes disabled so his lights wont come on. but changes the DPF back to enabled and 1.
I am thinking that his truck is going into regen mode and causing his poor mileage.
I am trying to convince him to just stick with the tune I put in, but he won't.
Anybody else run into a similar problem?

Because the diablo takes the base tune to modify. I dealt withthis on an edge with just a cts monitor on an lmm. Changed it to no and 0 and it worked fine. If he wanted to ditch the diablo he'd be better off.
