Default PRND Indicator light repair 03 Denali

I hope this is the correct section but I cant seem to find the info on repairing/replacing the gear indicator in my cluster. I am a tech and do LOTS of stepper motors and bulbs in these trucks but need to fix my own this time. Info on parts please?

Hard to find, at best. I am fairly certain the display incorporates part of the "brain" for the cluster, meaning that replacement may require reprogramming (or be impossible?). ACdelco will have the parts if anyone does, but that requires some sort of Delco certification to get parts.

If you're lucky, you could find a useable display in a junkyard cluster.

If you are sure its the cluster, then most likely you have to take it to a speed shop or buy a replacement. Some parts are available but I found they are all tight lipped about it.

Most likely the circuit board will have to be replaced but a new board will require programming.
