Default Question about interceptor scan gauge

I just got an interceptor scan gauge for my truck. Do these read boost? Mine only shows .7 on the gauge with the pedal down. It shows -8.9 for manifold psi at idle. Just wondering if these are only designed to show vacumn and not boost. Other than that, it seems like a good tool for reading trans temp, iat temp, and everything else.

I would guess that it won't read boost, because the stock MAP sensor is only a 1 bar sensor, and you would need a 2 bar to read boost. -8.9 psi would be 17.8 inches of vacuum.
