I just. Got my truck running again it's going into Rep at idle and especially coming to a stop it's a fresh 5.3 it has a frt mount Turbo on it. I just put a new. Engine in the only thing I did different is a new cam truck idles good for about 5 minutes and then goes into Rep. If I shut it off and wait aminute it's fine again for a few minutes. No codes. I wiggled the she harness and connector and this doesn't cause it. Ideas?

I assume it is displaying "Reduced Engine Power" on the dash. You are not getting any codes? Did you have your tune modified so that your codes were disabled? You can disable the code in the tune, and still go into REP mode without showing codes, but that is the only way I know you can do it.

See if you can have the tuner enable them so you can find the problem.

I had p2101, and disabled it through the tune. The truck would still go into REP mode, but not show the code. I switched to a different throttle body, and then got p1516. I was able to disable p1516 in the tune, and I do not go into REP mode anymore. Knock on wood. Some of them you can truly disable, and some you can't. (That is from my personal experience, maybe I'm wrong)

They are all disabled but I had this issue about 18 months ago. At that time I replaced the tb and has still happened maybe once a month but rt now the truck isn't really driveable. I'm gonna see what happens with another tb I guess

so i tried another throttle body, it was much better but still had the rep issue but only twice when the original throttle body did it multiple times, i can wiggle the engine harness, tap the tb and the tap module and nothing causes it it is just intermittently going into rep, i shut the truck off for 30 seconds and it is fine for a little bit then it does it again, it does it almost every time on a hot restart, any more ideas, i contacted my tuner but he is sick and unable to help me for a while, so any ideas would be appreciated.
