Default Raise line pessure at wot only???

I'm installing a corvette 2nd and billet 4th servo kit next week. I already put my line pressure settings back to stock in my tune, because the servos + higher line pressure would make my truck shift too hard for comfortable cruining in-town. But, I would like to raise my line pressure during wot only? For firmer shifts. How would I go about doing that? I have HP Tuners btw. The only table I have adjusted in the past is the base shift pressure table.

I think that the only thing you can do is to raise the pressure above a certain torque.

You need to log "Delivered Engine Torque", note the value at WOT, then go into your tune and increase the trans pressure at that cell, also increase the values around that cell, the one above and below. I would start out increasing it by 2%, then go drive it, keep increasing it until it chirps the tire, then back it down to the previous setting. You don't want the tires chirping...

Also if you already haven't lower your "desired shift times" to about .3ish around that same delivered engine tq.

If you don't have a shift kit installed then you need to at least put the stock values back in those tables.

Oh, a friend of mine that does tunes told me that if I zero'd that table out, not only would my shifts be quicker, but there would be less slipping in the tranny and when I did do a shift kit, the adaptive pressure learning wouldn't take effect.

Your friend is partly correct. Zeroing out those tables will disable adaptive shift learning, which raises and lowers tranny pressures based on actual shift times vs the times in those tables. A shift kit is designed to speed up the shift mechanically that is why you zero that table out, if you don't have a shift kit installed your doing more harm than good.... Your trans is probably shifting slower with those disabled rather than the .3 like i suggested .... Just my .02...

Ok, so just put the stock values back in for the few weeks until I get the shift kit in, then put them back to zero? And how do I go about logging that "delivered engine torque" you talked about earlier?
