Reduced Engine Power --- Help
Ok I've had this happen 3 times now. All 3 times it has happened when leaving some place and the first time I get on it hard, like getting up to speed quickly on an on ramp. I get the "Reduced Engine Power Message" and the truck goes into limp mode. I have to then stop and shut the engine off for 30 seconds or so and then it will run normal again with the SES light on. I started keeping my OBDII reader in my truck and tonight when it did it I got the codes P0103 (Mass or Volume Circuit High Input) and P1514 ( TAC System MAF Performance) both two times.
I am running a custom HP Tunrers OS in OLSD, so my question is what is going on and how do I fix it?
My tune is attached.

Hmmm...turn that P1514 code off. If you are SD you don't care about the MAF hi-flow readings error. You can raise your thresholds in the dtc tab as well, but no need in SD. Kill that code. I am sure that code is your reduced power issue. The P0103 is fine really, you are telling it to fail at 0hertz. In my tune I have the MAF P0101-3 codes set to MIL on first error, unlike yours at second. Zero your maf table out as well...just for good measure. It SHOULDN'T mean anything, but it makes me "feel" better.
**I see foff referenced to edit the dtc table i was talking about. If you were using the MAF, fine, I say turn it off. You are in SD.

its not even about turning the code off, he could just keep raising the p1514 table until the code disappears yet still give him room if there is a real problem. Raising the table to the max is the quick fix but I usually plot a histogram & then add 10% over the max readings.
