Retrofit back up camera?

Anybody tried to retrofit a GM backup camera- the one that displays in an oversized rearview mirror- Not the one for the stock GPS unit.

Those rear view mirrors are cool, but hooking one up to a double din screen sounds a lot easier. Have you ever thought about just buying a new truck?
