Default segment swap in HPT

I was told for the 60E to 80E segment swap all I needed to do was email my tune to someone at HPT? Then they'd email it back to me?

-or do I need to look into doing it myself, this is just a bit of uncharted water for me.

Just use a 6.0 4l80e bin with your engine parameters

if they do it will I retain all my previous trans settings? Lockup? Shift properties/pressures/points/speed etc??? Or will I have to start from scratch on my trans tune. I hope not, it took a LONG damn time to get my trans like I wanted it LOL

You'll have to do it all over again.

They're going to all be different any way, you have all different gear ratios and a different shifting characteristic type of tranny.

PS, I did my own segment swap

when I had them do my segment swap and I went to Nic for my tune he ended up needing to download a whole new driver. There was something not right I cant remember but my IAC counts were too high so he took a whole VIN from HPT that started life as a 6.0/80e and just swapped out the VINs
