Try this tune (TestTune), it is an 07 with flex ... It is a base tune for a 6.0 and 60e... it is a different OS but it has the capability to segment swap a 80e .... You will need to do a full write. If it starts, drives and runs, then swap over ALL of your engine tables, table by table in your current tune, sorry you gotta do that by hand ... Remember don't go nuts just drive slowly around the block....

I have included:
TestTune (6.0/60e)
Stock 5.3/60e tune
Stock 6.0/80e

Just flash your pcm to a vin from an 06' 2500hd with a 6.0 and an 80 then go back and modify the engine tune with your existing tune. Truck wont know the difference with the year change and it gets you a stock tune to start from.

thats what cory said! Will that work??? I was under the impression that i had a os specific to my vehicle but now the engine and trans parameters aren't even close to stock. So i can fully overwrite the tune with the van tune up top and it would work with out frying my pcm and would still run all of my other stuff correctly?

One way to find out! it shouldn't fry anything. Most that would happen is no start, or run shitty and throw codes. I was unable to find anything either for that OS either.

I also use www.car-part.com search for the tranny you want, then search their site for the motor you're looking for, if they have the same inventory stock number, you're golden. Sometimes I'll see if they have the PCM and just buy it, if they do, other times I'll call and see if they'll tell me the VIN.
