Default SES light after exhaust leak

Somehow I blew a weld out right at my header collector where it meets my cutout. At first I thought it was just my cutout cap leaking (manual cutouts) but after I re-sealed it and capped it back up it was still leaking... I got under it while it was running and felt around and sure enough... there's a hole on the top of the collector in the weld.... that was last night... this morning, I went out to start the truck to go to work and the Check engine light came on as soon as I cranked the truck... could they be related? I havent had it plugged in and scanned so I am not sure... and I dont have scanning equipment .... any ideas on what it could be?

I made 4 passes at the track this weekend and everything was ok and was ok for the 2hr drive home... no lights, no problems.... it started this morning...

Its probably a DTC for the O2 sensor on that exhaust bank. It could be a number of codes caused by that leak.

Just for example it could be a:
- X Bank Lean
- BxS1 Insufficient Switching
and probably a few others that i cant think of right now.

Either way, get the code scanned (autozone or places like that typically have a code scanner they'll let you use) And get that weld fixed lol.

But without getting the codes scanned, what i just all spouted out its mearly speculation.

I am about to have a re-tune from W4M in a week or two. I will get the leak fixed this weekend but I hope he can clear all the codes and turn off the light for me... I gotta get it retuned for the gears that are going in soon... plus some other N20 related stuff anyway. I'll get him to look at it while he's in there...

You get that fixed yet, Was it reading too much O2?

yeah, I had it scanned and it was saying that the one leaking bank was running lean... no biggie, just need to get it welded up and clear the code.
