Shift point v. fuel cutoff problems
I was doing some "testing" today but not logging. It seems as if everytime I go WOT (the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift) I hit the fuel cutoff. I think. The engine stutters and the battery light comes on the dash as if the engine died and then goes right back to
I have my shifts for all gears set to 6100rpm. The fuel cutoff is 6500rpm with a fuel re-enable of 6490.
Could I be running 400rpm over my shift point and bouncing off the fuel cutoff? What do you guys set your fuel cut offs at vs. your shift points.

you should not be going over 5950 due to map sencer and tp unless you can contol all the above this will cause it to lean out or the fuel filter restricks the flow that you need

I found something interesting with mine the other day.. I can set the shift rpm at 6100 but if i have mph at 45 and it takes more than 6100rpm to get to 45 it will go over it and hit the limiter.. might want to check your WOT shift speed.. I could be completely wrong but worth the shot

The 1-2 is set to 36mph the 2-3 is set to 67mph. I guess I need to lower those a bit? That way the speed will be met before I reach the rpm I want to shift at? What has primary control, the speed or the rpm? I think its the rpm from what I've seen.
I have 4.10 gears and 32" tires.
