Shift points for a stock 5.3 6 speed?
What are you guys shifting these at? Factory settings are 5525rpm for 1-2 and 5425rpm for the rest.
I know it won't hurt the motor to wind it a little more but with the peak torque being 4600ish and the narrow ratio between gears with the 6 speed, should I really turn it much more than that?
With my old 4L60, I always wound 1st way past peak torque so it wouldn't fall on it's face when it went to 2nd. That doesn't seem as necessary with this trans.
Any thoughts?

Thanks for your input, Rhino. Sounds like I might want to ease the shift points up a bit. I've spent the last couple of days playing with PE tables. I think I'm getting a touch lean (based only on the narrow band o2's) so if I spin it a little faster I may need to add a touch of fuel on the top end as well as raise the shift points.
I'll ease into it. I'm a pretty cautious tuner. My friends might argue that point.
