Default Starts Sunday, won't start Monday.. Weekend truck?

Still in the middle of a 4l80e swap.. just wanted to let my truck breathe again, so I get the tranny bolted up, all the dipsticks run and get my header back on, and decide to crank it.. well the indicator says it's not in a gear, so I knew it was the NSS. Mess with it abit, finally get it to Neutral. The truck starts, idles and all the good stuff, kill it, starts again just find. I decide Monday i'm going to crank it to stir my wife up in the morning, and it won't attempt to turn over, just as it did when it said it wasn't in Neutral, altough it said it was.

I will admit that I haven't swapped the 2 wires on the pigtail going into the side of the tranny yet, but will that not allow it to start? Even if it's already start and run before? I scanned it for codes, and it threw a TCC malfunction code, which I figured was from the pigtail. I've put new batteries on it, and messed with the NSS a lot, even replacing the smaller pigtail, and I just can't figure out what it is, especially because it wasn't touched from Sunday to Monday...

Any advice?

well see that's the dilema, because the indicator says it's in park now, but still not dice.

you need to get down under your truck and make sure that your gear position sensor is also in park along with your transmission being in park

do this, change one gear at a time and see if it will start in either selection, if it does your sensor needs to be adjusted
