sounds dumb but where is it?

i was installing some led lights and when i turned the lights on i blew a fuse so i know its not hooked up right...just dunno which fuse it is

It's either in the pannel on your dash just inside the door or under your hood right near the firewall. The one near the firewall is a black box you should see a red wire or connector going to it.

yea it just doesnt say tail lights im wondering if there is another name for them

well theres a couple fuses...

there are some fuses that are seldom talked about UNDER the dash... brake pedal side. The box doesnt resemble a fuse box, i beleive it comes apart with a single screw and that pops the cover off. Theres a tail light fuse there that relates to the pedal so its actually a "stop lamp fuse", the actual tail light fuse is in the under the hood fuse panel. Not sure which fuse... you should still have that fuse panel map sticker on the back of the cover no?

the stop lp is good the brake lights work just not the running lights

umm not that i see...im confused now..brakes work signals works but no lights wtf!!! and on top of that i got distracted during the middle of this so now its dark out! i hat working in the dark but i need my truck. damn i hate electronics..not really just cold!
