TCC settings and Economy

TCC settings and Economy
Well I have been thinking of my poor in-city economy and decided to play with the TCC lockup tables to see if I can score another mpg or 2. I had them set to only lock in 4th at speeds over 50mph. I took the stock tables (middle table) and raised TCC lock speed by 10% to minimize lugging, set it to not lock at WOT. I only changed the "performance" tables so I can try it by just setting the Tow/Haul mode.
Driving results are interesting. Makes no difference when in D because the speeds for it to lock in 3rd put me in 4th anyway but they are 6mph lower than I had previously. The best results are when diving in 3rd...it's a solid lock and feels good. For the stop and go with the 9 traffic lights on my 5 mile trip to work everyday I think this will benefit me.
Is my reasoning sound? Please feel free to show me your 4L60e TCC tables. My setup is 3.73's with 30.5" tires.
Top Table are my partial throttle shift speeds (stock)
Middle table is Stock TCC lock up.
Bottom table is my Performance setting.
Feedback appreciated.

Don't you have a 2400+ stall on this truck? I have yet to do much to my truck do to my old car addiciton, but when I used to stall the hell out of my other cars my city MPG would drop. So now imagine a heavier vehicle by atleast 1500 pounds more then my cars the convertor is spining alot more instead of "ingaging" the other half of the convertor in fluid lock up. Plus the lock up function doesn't work till you hit atleast drive in any transmission I ever messed with T-700r4, 4L60, T-350D. So as your accelerating your running the rpm up on the motor, and the convertor is doing significantly less work then before.
So what you have is a function of truck you built. You can adjust your transmission shift, torque, or other tables it can really only optimizewhat its only doing now. Which probaly will not be night and day. I've read alot of your post and threads and you have one hell of a truck, and you know what your doing.
I have a 406sb with about 475+ horse in a 69 Camaro with 3.55 gears and a 2200 rated stall. So from the specs I was given on the rating of the stall my 406 should be flashing up to 2600rpm with this convertor. The convertor was rated with a 400 horse 350 BTW. My city mileage was so bad 1/2 the time I could count it on one hand with just the fingers, and a thumb is not a finger. So once it "locked" up as much as it would with just a fluid coupling at freeway speeds I could get 15+ mpg. Usually 75mph.
This has happened to me many many times with all the other crap I wasted my money on.

Thats the way I look at it.
When I had crazy fast hot-rods, and I cried at the gas pump "gas was a $1.50". I probily funded 9-11, fully doubled the hole in the ozone layer, and reduced the number of clear sunny days in the LA area.

wait..it helps to run the stock min/max or the 90/100% settings I have? Why would it help to have a softer lock?
Report: It looks like I recovered 1-2 mpg but it's really too soon to say. Locking in 3rd with the shifter in 3 is cool but it seems to unlock when I let off the throttle (like the 4L80e does) and reapply when I give it a little gas. Wear is a concern, don't think I am in any danger taking it easy on it.
