I need to run the ABS bleeding sequence and get rid of this horrid sponge pedal !
Is your tune Locked??? That may be why the Tech2 won't finish conecting to complete the procedure.

Not that I have messed with, you're refering to a MAF-less SD tune?

I may have inadvertantly locked it the last time I re-programmed my trans parameters. I need to check this. Thanks FastBrick!

Unhappy

Well, just checked the current tune, it's not locked. Adjusted some trans parameters and looked it over to see if there was anything wrong, and found nothing. V2 Flashscan and laptop hooked up to the truck and worked like clockwork. I'm going to have to take it in tomorrow and see if the Tech II will connect to the truck's PCM.

were are you getting the tech 2 from??? Are you 100%sure its functioning properly??? if the cable is damaged internally you won't know and it wont comunicate...

My Tech 2 wont work with the computer for updates or pass through programing... I have to have to put the card in another tech 2 to get the updates.

My local community college Automotive program. They have 6 of them I believe, so I will be sure to try as many as I can. I will take a close look to find one of the best looking units physically, as I know the students can be hard on the equipment. As far as it functioning 100% correctly, I am not sure. I do know the unit gets power, as I can navigate the menus, but when I try to perform a function that requires the Tech II to access the PCM, I get a connection error message. Thanks FastBrick!
