Yeah this can work but much better to just fix the tune to get the idle right.

a friend of mind went get his gto tune by someone in south la big name tuner and he drill a 3/16 hole in a brand new comptech throttle body and said it was the throttle body was bad wanted him to order some big name throttle body .

the 3/16 hole allowed 4 cubic feet of air at idle witch is alot
