Default Throtte Body Gremlins...!~@#$%^&*

Although my piglet if for sale, I still like to keep working on it and making **** better...or worse..

A few months back I had some issues with the TB and passed them off as a fluke.

I had the trans out...complete rebuild and got everything back together this past weekend to find out my **** don't work.

ZERO ZIP ZILCH NADA throttle control. P2135, P0220, P0120, P1516, P1518

I have replaced the X-Link, swapped throttle bodies, re-crimped the TB harness...removing 6" of wire to account for possible broken wires, swapped TAC modules.

The only thing left is a wire damaged inside the harness or a bad PCM.

Reaching out to all you diagnostic freaks...help me out por faplease.

I have been going through this too except I haven't been getting the P1518. Do you get these codes as soon as you turn the key? What T-body are you using?

there is a switch at the gas pedal that the TB communicates with and if the voltage sent to the TB from the gas pedal does not match the voltage returned from TB to the gas pedal you can see these issues. I believe it is a 5v signal that must be satisfied.

I'm having similar issues with my throttle. I replaced the throttle body but still having issues. I'm leaning toward the pedal position sensor for both our cases, but I've been wrong before.

Did you touch the TB when the tranny was out? Why is it an issue now but wasn't before?

This is the same problem that left me stranded at the track a few months back. While the trans was out, the truck was stuck in my garage and I had no way to work on it

I have an LS2 and an 87mm 4 bolt throttle body. Same codes with each (with proper x link pink wire treatment for each TB)

The yellow TB wire shows voltage when measured to ground. It should be 0 volts....indicating transient voltage somewhere...PCM possibly.

I have gone through the xlink trouble guide. I am going to re-check grounds.

Has anyone done a DBW to DBC swap....I am thinking it could be a royal PITA

Both throttle motor wires(yellow and brown) should be +ve relative to ground when connected to the TB... only for the first 15 sec after key on though if the engine is not running.
