I have a feeling I will be going through the same problems. I have soldered all the connections, cleaned crimped and soldered the grounds, and am waiting for another X-link. I actually pulled the wires out of the harness, and I have them loose from the TAC module to the X-link so that if there is a problem I can fix it easily. I never have good luck, so I assume it won't fix easily. After and if I can correct it I will put the wires back in the harness.

EVILGMC,

Have you looked into a cable swap? If we can get this all corrected there needs to be a step by step tutorial on fixing this since these trucks are getting a few years on them.

I want REP to remain in place to save the engine if there is a serious issue down the line.

I must have done something wrong, I thought I disabled everything that had to do with REP.
