pedal swap did nothing for me today

i did also get my hands on a 78mm TB and plugged it in and went to key run position (no codes)..this makes sense knowing now how the 78mm is less sensitive than the 87/90mm

I also did some voltage testing....in run position i had 1.6vdc at both the yellow and brown wires. 0vdc with key off on each. (with TB unplugged)

TAC ground and both low references had good continuity to ground.

Not sure if you've done any of this yet:

Did you check those ground connections on the firewall?

Did you test the voltage at each pin of the 8 pin throttle connector with the key on(not just the yellow and brown)?

Did you test the yellow and brown wires on another truck for voltage (unplugged with key on)?

Make sure there is no voltage in the pink wire at pin 7 of the 16 pin TAC module connector when the key is off(unplug it and test it).

Did you try connecting your TBs to another 03-06 truck?

i tested the pink wire....0 volts unplugged key off. 12v key run.

the only other trucks i have access to at the moment are an 04 8.1 hd, 02 6.0 hd and 08 nnbs 1500

firewall grounds all ring out good.

low reference at the TB connector ring out good to ground

considering the problem started out as intermittent and went to complete ****-all over time

All I know is my LS3/90MM works flawless. It's all about the N/A stock 4L60E, 10bolt power combo! It's the damn heat pump paper weight you've got messin' things up

I'm pretty sure that the 04 8.1L will have the same throttle system as your truck.

Do you have 5.0V on the blue and grey wires at the 8 pin?
