Tip in wot timing drops..why?

Denalis had the LQ4 until 04, in 05 they switched to the LQ9. The difference in power output in 04 between the Denali and the 2500 ( both using the same LQ4) was in the tune. Mainly timing as the 2500 was tuned a bit more conservative factoring in its design to tow.

Did a little math and its burst knock for sure. I'm just not sure what to set the g/cyl delta to. It's double from stock already. Should I just double it again? I see in the log where it goes from like .20 g/cyl at idle to .64 sitting still at wot.

the table labeled burst knock. nuke it. it's the table the ecm refers to in the event of calculated air flow changes. think of it like this. a flinch. something the ecm does in prediction if actual kr happens. most of the time it doesn't happen. in a nutshell of "what if"

Ok i bumped up the bust knock threshold table. Took it for a drive and wow! Stab it off the line and it pulls hard. Hit it from a roll while the Tcc is u locked and the Trans shifts down and goes. Seems to down shift quicker. Turbo seemed to spool faster off the line.

Wifey drove the Tahoe today for the first time without towing a trailer. I think she came a little. Lol. She too said the power feels smooth. Like it enjoys its job. No more hesitation when going wot, Trans down shifts with out an abrupt feeling. All you feel is your body pushing back into the seat.
