Tips for Dynoing
#11
Hey man,
Thanks for you help...naw these guys didn't scare me off. I went and started the run and but I didn't get to complete a full pull, air/fuel went from 12:1 and jump straight up to 15:1 at 4000 rpms so we unstrapped it and i will try to find someone with a tuner for the thirdgen camaro(TPI) engines. Any, we let off at 4000 and it made 246rwhp. Peak is supposed to be at 5500 but with the air/fuel reading like it was, I wasn't about to push it. So, I will have to get the torque graph for him...right before I went, a truck broke so they were a little scattered when it was my turn so I will see what it shows for torque. I am disappointed a little b/c of the air/fuel but this is what dynos is for....tuning it up. Maybe I will have some real number soon....should be around 320-340rwhp once its all said and done at peak.

Sorry to hear about the aborted dyno run. Ive heard of lean cruise before but lean acceleration??? ...um...no. You were wise to do what you did. Please keep in touch and let us know how it goes after the recal.
edit: Also meant to say it sounds like you are doing everything right.

Yea, I check all the fuilds once again before the truck went on there so, glad nothing broke. Can't wait to get this thing back to 13:1 roughly and see the numbers....should be pretty good!!
Numbers were not corrected as well!!
