Default Torque management gone = happy!

06 2500hd 6.0, just got my Diablo and removed the torque management with an 87 octane tune, wow now I have real truck and the mileage is up too. Not like putting a tuner on a diesel but for a gas pot I would recommend you get a tune, the GM torque management sucks.

Diablo $52.50, thank you ebay. Probably sell it for more than that when I resell the truck. From what I've read, optimize the ltft and timing and I have a custom tune for the price of a 24 pack (Canada eh.) Plus truck can be returned to stock when done. I'll sacrifice a couple hp for that.

Did you remove all the TQ?
What trans do you have?
I was told with my trans (80e )I can only remove 15-20% because of the speed sensor on the torque converter.
