I'll have to look more into that second bulletin you posted. I checked the intake manifold gasket with carb cleaner, and it doesn't appear to be leaking. I'm going to check my harnesses, and should have my new plugs and wires coming in this weekend, so hopefully I can get those changed out. I honestly have been so busy I haven't even had the chance to pull any of my plugs to check them out.

No, I don't have a wideband. I am currently working on a console for my truck at work that will house an ipad2, and was looking into dash command which supposedly reports my AFR as well as a bunch of other engine parameters.

Does this truck use 16 injectors?

I have the factory 8 injectors plus 2 extra injectors on the intake just before the manifold. IT has some accessory electronics ,not 100% sure of the function of them as It was done before I bought the truck and no install manual or paperwork was given to me at all. I can tell you the electronics are tapped into the PCM, but thats about it. I am waiting to hear back from whipple regarding what the electronics control, or at the very least installation instructions or a manual.

I actually live in Fresno and worked at whipple for a bit back in 98-99 the piggyback ecu just drives the injectors and depending what ecu was refrenced off boost.

I say ditch all the whipple electronics get some larger injectors and a custom tune

Awesome, I assumed thats all it did, but I'd rather read it, or hear it from an informed source. I plan to eliminate the electronics, and get the injectors as soon as time and money permit. Also, I'd like to know if I'll see any performance gains from the injectors and tune. I'm happy with how it drives now (minus the huge delay from torque management), but more power never hurts.

Man, it just keeps piling on. Started the truck today, and low oil alert was on. Check it, and oil isn't even showing up on the dip stick. Which is weird, because I have no oils spots below my car, and it doesn't smoke at all. Now I'm interested to get it up on a lift, and see whats going on.

Thanks, I added 2 quarts before heading to work today, and I'm going to be changing my oil in tuesday.
