Default Tune with HPT

Is there anybody that will build me a tune and email it to me? I have an HP interface, but i'm not really all that great at tuning.
I'm looking for some increased performance out of this 5.3, as well as some fuel milage. I know I know, ask for everything and pick what you can actually get.

My truck Is BONE stock, well drop in K&N filter, but thats it.

2001 GMC Sierra Z71 5.3 117K miles.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

your better off getting in touch with one of the site sponsors. We cant just build you a tune for free, there are credits that have to be puchased which I assume you are aware of but it you want to try it yourself I'm sure there is enough knowledge with in the group here to help you out. Also search for Greg Banishes DVD's there are a great tunning tool for beginners

Tiffo-
I was under the impression that you can read, modify and save any tune that is vehicle compatible with HPT. It's only when you want to write the new tune in that you have to use the credits? In which case I have already done some tinkering around with and purchased the needed credits.

Any suggestions to sponsers that use HPT? I hear of black bear more than any, but I believe he uses EFI...

Nelson, Wheatley, Klug, and possibly Texas speed would be your best bets but they would likely charge you a nominal fee.

you can open a file thats not liscensed but it wont allow you to save any changes until you provide a liscense for it(one liscense to modify it and one to flash it to a vehicle. As far as sponsors any of them can get you a good starter tune with which you can fine tune and start learning what to change etc. There are numerous help files on here and HPT forums that can help get you started

That is only the case with EFILive. Like said, with HPT you have to license to the tune before you can save changes unless your have unlimited tuning for that particular year and model.

Not much free lunch when it comes to tuning...
