How much TM should I have removed? All of it? My trans is supposed to be
heavier duty according to GM.

I think I might go with Wheatley. I've had a hard time getting in touch with Nelson. I haven't been able to reach Wheatley by phone, but he does return my emails. Blackbear would also be an option but I don't think I'm ready to tune on my own.

i know he can do them in person, and im pretty sure he can do them by mail as well now. i would HIGHLY recommend him, hes one of the best in the business and his customer support is what really will blow you away.

I went with Wheatley. Sent the ECM and TCM off today. Can't drive the truck for awhile but it's worth it. I'll let you know how it went.

Highly recommend Wheatley. He kept in touch with me through the whole process and shipped it out the sameday. My truck will only be down 2 days.
Excellent customer service and cares about what the customer thinks. I'm excited about driving it when I get it back.
