Tuning for a 100 shot
Going to the track tomorrow to see what the 5.3 will run with a 100 shot. All stock, to the intake and muffler.
I was thinking pulling 4 degrees from high octane table and pasting into the low octane table so they are the same, changing the TPS precentage for power enrichment, removing torque management, zeroing out shift times, and adding a couple mph and rpm's to the shift points.
Anything else you would do?

Changing the tps % won't help, you'll be at over stock percentages anyhow.
remove TM without even a servo = not good
zero shift times... maybe .250
add a couple rpm's to the shift points, why not. Just make sure to raise the in gear rev limit plenty above your shift points so not to hit the limiter on the jug.
These are just my two pennies...

Thanks for the help everyone... It is an NX wet kit. I am going to remove 2 degrees from the high octane table and see how it runs. Not going to do anything with torque management, reduce the shift times to .250 like slowec said, and let her rip.
Got the nitrous kit installed... Couldnt even feel the 50, so I went to a 100 and it felt better, but not great. Bottle pressure was low, so will get it refilled tomorrow.
Just trying to beat my brother-in-law with his mildly modded Lightning. Then I am going to swap in the 6.0, blower, 4l80, etc.

Im hitting mine with the 100 and im running 25* timing while spraying and have no knock retard. Do you have a wideband? Make sure fuel is in check, spary it while logging and see if all is good...

There is no reason not to hit it with the 150! Run 1000 psi bottle pressure and the 150 pills and hush up the in law. The nx kit will be a lil sluggish. If you can log knock, subtract 2 off the fuel jet and try some quick blast . Like if your kit is calling for a 38 fuel, try a 36. Those nx kits are real fat tuned. make sure to get colder plugs. I like ngk br6ef gapped at 32. Have fun, you only live once.
