Default tuning makes the truck idle bad

everytime i hook a computer up to my truck i wont idle and i have to drive it 4ever b4 it starts actin right and it still dont idle right.. like when i put in gear the idle drops and when i pull up to a redlight or something like that.. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT

What tuning software? Or are you talking about when you swap out a pcm?

When u flahs a new tune, it has to relearn the idle trims. If u do a rafig type of process it will account for these trims in the idle airflow table and help,fix the problem.

After you load the tune start the truck. shut it off. and then start it again.

its hp tuners software and b4 when it had a programer on it. It would the samething and it dont just do it when you hook up the tune it does it after and its still doin and i got it tune 2 months ago

It is a bit hard to fully understand it. Looks like your truck is pretty stock and should have NO idle problems.....

Come on man, we're trying to help you here, can you spell it all out for us? What changes did you make with hptuners. Easily I could make mione to not idle....easier than to get it to idle nicely I'm sure.

Do you reset the fuel trims after you reflash?

Also if you have E10 change your stoich to 14.0274 or it will go lean when you first restart.
