Default The Tuning School

Has anyone heard anything about 'The Tuning School'? They teach people how to use HP Tuners correctly and how to properly tune a vehicle. You can either go for a live siminar ($870) or get the 200 page instructional book and checklist ($450). It's kinda pricey but if it's good then it'd be worth the money. I've been wanting to learn how to tune for awhile and now that I'm almost finished with school, I think it'd be a great time to start.

Well that's not good news..

I've looked at some of the sample pages and they seem pretty legit, but I'll wait and see more feedback before I make a decision.

Also are there any alternative books or schools that teach you how to tune?

Alright man, think I'm going to order HP Tuners tomorrow. I'll give you a call though. I understand about the showing better than explaining because I'm the same way haha

Default tuning shcool go if you are a new tuner

The tuning school is the very best thing you can do if you are new to hp tuners. Is it worth the money I think so because it will save you countless hours of trial and error. Now if you have been tuning for years maybe not. The guys that work here have great attitudes and will help you get to a point where you can tune even if you know nothing. I took the beginers course a while back I was impressed even though I knew most of what was taught but Ive been doing this for a while. Not to mention they will let you dyno your vehcile in class for free thats awesome. Most fun I have had in years.

Their package is very well laid out and I believe they also give you a year of phone tech support which is nice. Other than having a tuner training you one on one its your next best bet.

It can easily save you months of searching forums for the same information.

Default Tuning School

+ 1 The Whole program is very well set up ! I did the at home at first and then the hands on school & that for me was a HUGE HELP !I am more of a hands on learner. You get to go over it all in class 1 day & then do it live on the dyno on at least 3-4 cars & Bob makes sure EVERYONE makes adjustments. In my class was 4 SHOP owners 2 SAMS students & a bunch of newbies. They also have a advanced class.I am still a long way from where I want to be but this was a big help & will do again! The Mast tuning book is also very good.
