Default tuning shift points

Well usually this is an easy thing to do but for some reason I cant get my truck to shift before it hits the rev limiter. I have it set to shift at 90mph and 6300 but I logged it today and it hit the limiter at 6500 at 97 mph. I raised the limiter a little while back to see if it would help and lowered the shift points but it still likes to rev out to 6500 and then shift after it hits the limiter. Here is a short log and the tune.

It only hits 100% every now and then, you have to stand an it pretty good to get it there and keep it there. I have WOT lowered a little to make up for that some.

Depending on the age/health of your tranny, you need to back down the RPM and MPH shift points until you get it to shift where you want it to, then SLOWLY raise the shift point...

You might want to throw in a vette servo into your tranny, it will help make the shift nice and quick....

Transmission tuning is more trial and error than exact calibrations, except if you have a built tranny or at least a shift kit... Stock trannys are a little lazy, they need a little cushion to command the shift...

I know how that is that is what I hate the worst about doing stuff to the truck clean-up. I would think the PCM should make the shifts a little closer to what is programmed and I would not think that the trans is slipping or anything to delay the shift.
