Default Updated EFI live software now can no longer modify tunes made prior to update

I updated my software to V7.5.7. I have V1 hardware.

I have been running a COS3 tune and now when I try and update injector data (went from 158 lb to 79 lb injectors) I save my changes and 2 files are created, an efi live tune file and a .ctz file. When I open up either, the old injector data is still populated in there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ummm that is weird. Do you think they changed the way the saved files are written?

I'd try to re download the PCM to the PC. Make the changes. And then see if they stick.

I really don't know.

For example, if I go change the injector from rate from 158 to 79 and save close out, then go back and open the tune the flow rate will be back at 158.

Now I have downloaded a stock 1 bar tune from tune depot and then I was able to modify that and upload it. However, now I have a problem with my trans converter lockup. It locks up at commanded 45 mph but then immediately disengages. Gotta see whats going on.

Go download it from your truck. Then save. Then modify the new one.

Good thought black. But I already did a full reflash of the PCM with the new 1 bar tune.

I have V2. I have the most recent updated downloads. I can change data and save it without any problem with the exception that I can no longer save a file as a .tun. I have edited a .tun file and a .ctz file. I can not save a .tun file though. Everything reverts to .ctz. I was able to change injector data though.

So I need to do a new COS3 tune.

The black COS3 tune that is stored in the folder with the software shows as an .tun file

My 1 bar tune is .ctz

I don't want to upload the .tun cos3 file and then flash the 1 bar .ctz in and then have the pcm bricked

Sounds like copy paste hell. Buy a six pack and get too it. It's all good. I bought efilive in 2006 and have had my fair share of interesting things happen. And still waiting on "version 8" to come out.

Did you just now upgrade the software or is this a new release?

I dont have any of the issues your talking about. I can save both tun ctz files.
