Upstate NY Gen V 5.3 tuner recommendations?
Hey all, I知 working on my 17 Silverado gen v 5.3, did the usual, BTR cam, manifolds, l86 intake, etc. trans is freshly built by circle d. I should have the truck back together in a week or so an am looking for anyone that has any recommendations on a good tuner for these trucks. I知 in Albany area but would be willing to travel a few hrs if needed. Thanks in advance

There are some of the biggest names in the tuning industry on that forum, and id rather have them tune my vehicle than someone i dont know.
And tuning is a subjective word.
Datalogging and then making adjustments is key here. And honestly it takes a good week or two to really tune a vehcile.
a few hours is a dyno-tune and thats really WOT tuning only with a few small adjustments here and there.

my recommendation is buy your own hptuners set up,, and let the guys on the forums help you remote tune it.
There are some of the biggest names in the tuning industry on that forum, and id rather have them tune my vehicle than someone i dont know.

Lastly, GEN V engines are a real biiiiiiiiiiiiiitch to tune.
ive tuned hundreds of gne 3 and 4s, but 5s, i know nothing. It really sucks, it is nearly impossible to tune one without haveing special friends that can alter the code that 'tuner' programs dont see.
