Default Very high Rev and no run

I have been tuning my 2001 Drive by Wire Chevy 5.3 that is placed in my Fj40

My last tune was push two nights ago with changes to the VE. Yesterday morning it drove perfect to town, 15 miles where I parked it in my work garage.

At lunch I went out started it - it immediatly revved to around 6000 rpm where I turned the key off. Started it again - same thing. Once I trailered it home, now it wont hold an idle.

I have HP Tuner software - it is showing no error codes. Fuel pump pressurizes when I turn the key. No fuse problems. Also verified that the throttle body isn't stuck open. it was pivot when pressing the throttle.

Any ideas? I can post latest tune and scan since I drove it to town that day scanning.

spray some cleaner or degreaser around the throttle body, still sounds like its being stuck open

I will try spray around and a little in it. It does have a K&N and a little oil residue is in the throttle body itself.

I just disconnected the TPS, scanned it - threw errors. So process of elimination would say that my tps is working since when connected there are no errors.

UPDATE! Someone from another site said to look for vacuum leaks. This prompted me to look right were I was working but didn't see the missing plug where the EGR used to be.

Now back to trying to get it tuned like Atomics! I want mine to be able to that.

Glad you found the problem. I was going to recomend letting Toyota look at it. It seems they know how to work on the sticking throttle issue.
