if you think, .2 tenths is a good gain for a CUSTOM TUNE ? your out of ur mind. the mods that i added on should of done more than 2 tenths by themselves. wit the tune added on, i should of gotten AT LEAST 5 tenths better overall, trap speed was 93.55

I didnt say it was good, I said it wasnt THAT bad.

You're right, though. You should have gained much more with all the new mods, a 1.5mph gain is pretty weak. This blows, now I'm afraid I'm going to hate my wait4me tune. Oh well, maybe it will make me buy HPtuners faster.

.2 tenths over a stock tune is not very good but .2 over a hpp3 isn't to bad for a mail order tune. Your increase mph equates to about a 13whp gain. Thats only about 12 dollars per hp which is a better dollar per hp ratio than any of your other mods.

got me a W4M tune as well and have been happy. Had some quirks in the beginning but Jesse re-tuned it a couple of times for my till i could make up my mind.

Also GTOsilverado, your running a 14.5 with your 5.3? Thats not all that bad with what you have done at all. Send the tune back to jesse and have him re-tune it. That simple

but REMEMBER !!! i also added underdrive pulleys, ported tb, and volant cai, aside from the tune... so all that PLUS TUNE = .2 tenth ?? i dont think so, i ran a 14.7 without the extra mods and tune !!! i put my stock tune back on today and it picks up way better than the w4m !!! the "tuned" pcm is taking away power from my motor!! i dont want to send it back to get retuned, i want a refund !

O then forget my last post. I thought you ran a 14.7 with mods and hpp3 tune. I would send it back for a retune, even the best tuner can have a dud once in a while. Can you read data with you're hpp3? Maybe you could tell him what you're fuel trims and kr are then he could dial it in a little better.

Not to sound like an *** but,....

Find a dyno tuner, make appointment
Take the day off, drive to dyno
Pay the money and be done with it.

I bought a Hypertech then a Diablo Sport Predator then mail order tune then a dyno tune and then EFI Live. Save yourself some money and get a dyno tune or buy tuning software. You'll spend less in the long run.
If you really want to see the difference take the W4Me PCM with you to the dyno and do back to back pulls with only a PCM swap and see what you get.

well.... i dont need to take it to the dyno to see the difference between my stock pcm and the wait4me.. my stock pcm pulls way better than the wait4me.. it gives up once it shifts into 2nd. My next tune is going to be a live tune with HPTuners.. so yeah, thats all the money ill be spending in tuning after that.
