WB AFR all lean then all over the place...
I have a DynoTune WB O2 in the truck with digital readout. I think it is a branded LC-1. Everything has been fine up until this a.m. Outside temp was high 30's-low 40's and it was reading the typical start up 12.8-13.2. Once it was warm it was still good at 14.6. After I got on the road the AF started running lean at 15.0-15.2. Any acceleration would go rich to 9.2-10.2. When cruising at 55-65 it would hover around 15.0 and occasionally blip up to 15.2. I also noticed that the engine temp was running higher than normal. Not hot, just higher by about 4-6 degrees. I had to get on the throttle once to make a semi-evasive manuever but couldn't watch the guage. But after that it was pegged at 49.5!!! I stopped, shut the truck down and re-started. That cleared the guage but it still ran a bit lean for the remainder of the commute.
Anyone got any ideas???

I can understand that but it has never been that way. It has always been right at 14.5-14.6 and steady. Today it was jumping around alot between the 14-15. And it also seemd to be jumping around at throttle transitions. I guess I need to get a log...if I can repeat the scenario. Thanks foff667.

I think from the first post that spinz71 has an Innovate LC-1 he bought from DynoTune. Innovate recommends frequent free air calibrations. I am hoping that will fix the problem of his erratic readings unless he has a problem with his fuel system.

I doubt its your truck, unless its running really funny. Sounds more like your another victim of a bad LC1. I have a brand new one sitting in the box they sent me after my first one took a dump. Now I'm using a Tech Edge I had before I bought the LC1. Try a fresh air cal, but I bet your WB controller is taking a dump.

These WBO2 are sensitive to grounds and placement of the bung in the exhaust system. The installation instructions must be understood and carefully followed. If you key on engine off the ignition after the vehicle has been sitting for 6-8 hours you should get a reading of 20.9% oxygen in free air. If it is off by more than .6% you should do a free air calibration. I guess with the LC-1 display you may not be able to see a reading so just do a free air calibration as per the manual and see if your readings stabilize.
Also check out the forum on the Innovate site and that may provide some advice to help out.
I had problems with the readings on my LM-1 and I had to add a heat sink. It seems to be working fine now and I am using the same sensor.
