Default This weather freakin SUCKS for tuning.....

Well I have been trying to dial in my tune for my new cam and the DA yesterday (sunday) was like 4600 (elevation here is ~500), my IATs are like 117*!!!!! I can barely get .64 grams/cylinder, which the day before when I first got the cam installed (saturday) I was peaking at .72 and the majority was .68 but the DA was 2500.... Talk about getting kicked in the *****, almost makes it not worth it to do a cam swap in the summer, the gains get sucked up by the weather.... Might as well forget about new track times until freaking September.... I wonder if a NA meth kit would help, hmmmmm?

Oh and when I was tuning my idle, my damn laptop and V2 cable kept over Heating!!!! It was sooooo freaking hot my the cable would just stop working, then my laptop would start tarding out..... Cause I was just sitting in my driveway with the truck running, no AC and no wind blowing, so it was boiling in the cab..... I would have to go into my house and let them cool down then go try again.... The whole time I was just drenched in sweat, my shorts looked like I just pissed my pants I was sweating soooo bad......

Sorry rant over...

be sure to check your tune again when it gets cooler. You wouldn't want to lean things out too much and hurt the engine.

Add a big heat pump under the hood in the form of a turbo and double the exhaust under the hood and then you will be like me. I dont even feel like starting mine during the day, its so dam hot outside...

Yep the tune is all over the place.... I usually don't drive the truck in the heat but the AC went out in my beater so I have to drive it this week, I got parts on order for it so hopefully the truck will just sit this summer and only get driven at night when it is not as hot....
