Default What are the signs that your wbo2 sensor is dying?

Do they die slowly (weeks) or instantly (one day - dead).

Mine will read LEAN when both nbo2s are 875 mv or more. It may read LEAN if either nbo2 reads 875 or more. It reads normally the rest of the time.

It never did this before the accident, or before it sat for 3.5 months in the body shop. The controller was checked out by PLX and replaced even though they couldn't find any trouble, but alas... its still broke.

Anyone wanna buy a truck? I'd say cheap, but that would be a lie

Have you done a fresh air recal yet?? I think they just get lazy like a narrow band does. Moisture can plant in that sensor, might have corroded because of the long down time. If it was an Innovate setup Id be able to get you a new sensor. But maybe it would work anyway. Just a Bosch 5-wire.

I pulled it out a few weeks ago and cleaned it with carb spray and compressed air but no dice.

Its a PLX so according to them doesn't need to be recalibrated manually. I'm gonna pull it tomorrow and hit it with gas duster to see if I can force it to read RICH. If not, according to PLX its probably bad.

Just weird that it works "sometimes".

Check all grounds. If it was in an accident...you might have a "semi" ground going on. Run a wire from the battery terminal ground directly to the sensor ground.
