Had the same thing happen several times.LOL

I put in a spare PCM I had from my '05 sierra... anyhow, we've turned off the code for the F terminal but the battery still flashes. I'll double check this afternoon and do another crank relearn for grins.

Not really to a '05 specific but there is to a '02 and newer... there is more space on the comp for adjusting files. I swapped in the '05 comp because the truck was moded and tuned by Nelson and he locks them. I took off the mods and needed a stock tune again.

Are there any codes showing? I never knew you could put a 05 pcm in a 00, Thought the pinouts were different? Let us know your fix when you find it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I was pretty sure you can not use a 03 or newer 1 meg pcm on an 02 or older 512k pcm engine/harness. The 1 meg pcm's have one of the connector on the pcm different also.

Not sure... everything is working fine using the '05 PCM other than the flashing battery.

I just when out and checked the 1 meg 03+ pcm will NOT plug into an older harness, one has a red connector and the other has a green connector and they are keyed different.

Humm.... what you think is an 05 pcm must really be an 02 pcm, do you have a PN off of it?
