Who does a good basic or custom tune?
I know there's plenty of good companies out there that does a good basic or custom tune for their vehicles, but i would like to know from everyone who would they recommend? I know theres Nelson, Blackbear, Klug and i know the there's more, but who has the best results?

I tune my own , but I am not in to messing with others so I suggested to a friend he have a vendor e-mail me a tune and I'd throw it in there and log it if any changes were needed, I'd install them. I was very impressed with Blackbears tune. It was so close, we did not change a thing. It was a cammed truck on a stock stall and is very drivable. pretty nice!

I use EFI Live, and Wheatley has been very good. Klug is a great person, and I would trust him to do a great job too. Unfortunately for me Klug has gotten away from EFI Live recently. I began with Blackbear, and he just couldn't do it. That is why I left him and decided to look elsewhere. I have no experience with Nelson at all.

I'm looking for a company that does a great job with tunes and also has great turn around for the PCM and re-tuning everything i do a upgrade or bolt-on. Since my truck is kind of a daily driver from time to time, i need something that will wake my truck up when i step on it, not to say my truck is a slouch or anything, its held its own on alot of street races a few years back, but street racing really doesnt happen anymore in my area do to cameras and such. Anyway, ill be able to do more to my truck when i find a 08 or 09 low mileage SS Impala for the wife, then i can take her car and she can drive the SS and my truck gets some major upgrades.

your best bet is to find someone that can tune it in the truck, but if you can i would go with blackbear or whealey just either one, pick one thats closer to you and there but sure you tell them what you would like it to do
