I initially used Jesse (wait4me), but after 4 retunes for my pretty much bone stock (CAI, muffler) 5.3 it still wasn't right and then a few months later, my 3-4 clutches burned up because he had removed 100% tq management (in an email I stated 50% removed). So after a transmission rebuild, I went with Wheatley for my tuning and couldn't be happier. I picked up 4mpg and probably 20rwhp (butt dyno) over the wait4me tune.

You can't go wrong with Nelson, BlackBear or Wheatley, they all have a great reputation on here.

i would LOVE to go with Wheatly but i can't afford $275 for a stockISH tune... more need it for VATS, o2's, egr stuff turned off for a LS swap...
plus i need atleast 2 more done as well...

i can have a FULL HANDS ON tune by e VERY replicable tuner with a wide band for $250 locally....

Wait4me is only $75 i might would even pay a little more but $275 is out of the question FOR SURE... i mean this is not a race truck nor will it ever be its a BONE STOCK CREW CAB with 24's on it... if it had an aftermarket cam it would be fine...
looks like i might just put a resister in line and put catalytic converters in it for the rear o2's

Worth every penny, plus free retunes for whatever changes you make down the road. And there is a reason some tunes are $75 and some are $275, (or in my case, $75 for the tune and $2200 for a rebuilt transmission and labor because of the burned clutches).
