Wide band in place of o2's?
Had another random thought in my head today I figured I'd ask. Is there anyway to have the pcm read my wide band instead of my o2's? I have a trick turbo kit and I am running a wide band in my down pipe off my Aeroforce Interceptor gauge. Is there any benefit to this? The reason I ask this is because since this turbo kit is a flow though style log setup, how can the o2's get a proper reading on bank 2 if bank 1 is flowing through it. My AFR'S are swinging pretty wide in closed loop (between 13.0-16.0). My AFR's never seem to stay the same. They change when in park, D, and on cold start-ups it goes up to 19.0 and the truck wants to die out and then they go back to 14 and it runs fine. It also goes to 19.8 when I start to press the gas pedal after coming to a stop (normal driving). It seems as soon the the throttle starts to crack open quickly the afr's shoot up and the truck hesitates for a second and then they go back down to around 13-16 and it runs fine again. I either need to get the truck back to the tuner or just find another tuner but I was just wondering that if running off the wide band would help.
