0.00?? I didn't think the shift times were supposed to go any lower than like 0.200. I may be misunderstanding you.

In my 2000 silverado, it would shift so hard that it would hurt. Stock tranny with tuning only. Shift speed was maxed out but I never maxed out the line pressure in fear of smoking the tranny. Maybe it was just my truck, but it shifted "VERY" hard for just tuning.

good luck.

I moved the shift times down to .200 and worked on the firmness a tad with no result. I told him yesterday that he will probably just have to get a shift kit because if I messed with the pressures too much more then I would be afraid that it would kill the tranny. It still makes no sense that it shifts exactly like I expected it to from 2nd-3rd. but 1st-2nd just will not respond to the tuning changes. Thanks for everyone's replies.

Like i said, i find that hard to believe. My 60 shift SUPER HARD, chirped the tires at WOT 1-2 on a 6000 rpm limit with 20"s, now that's freakishly hard, and that was a transgo. Granted my line pressure was way too high at the time, hadn't retuned it and all my computer and interface got stolen so i had to drive it around like that for 6 months, probably the cause of death on mine. But if you have a 60 shifting that hard with 0 TM it's not gonna last too long if you are throwing a good deal of power at it.

I didn't say that was a tune that I regularly put in trucks. I am just saying that I have made quite a few trucks shift very hard. It was spinning going from 1st-2nd. Believe what you want but I have tuned 5 trucks around my area and they all shift pretty hard. All have 4l60e. Now I agree that the tranny may not last with these settings...that is why I have advised them to get shift kits and most of them had. I basically just put this tune in this guy's truck to see if that would make any difference and it did not. There are a lot of guys around my area chirping the tires from 1st-2nd with tuning only.

And when I say FREAKISHLY HARD, I do mean FREAKISHLY HARD for tuning only. I know that with tuning only it will not shift like it does with a shift kit or servo. Don't get me wrong in that aspect. I know there is a difference.
