Mileage is in the cluster in NBS trucks.. unless you're talking about the NNBS stuff, I don't know anything about that, but I would think it would be in the cluster too.

I'm not 100% certain, but I think I read somewhere that the mileage is stored in both. In the cluster, and in the PCM. If the dealer checks it and they don't jive, you get a warranty block.

Since I'm at 155k miles ... warranty is the least of my worries.

Maybe bullygoat can chime in on the mileage issue. Ive been told its in the cluster and else where.

NBS trucks had the mileage in the cluster. I haven't had any mileage issues with a NNBS yet but ECM programming makes no mention of mileage so I'll have to assume it's in the BCM or cluster.

I'm glad I don't have to deal with warranty stuff anymore, there's something to be said about buying used trucks.

LOL! Perfect. I actually asked if I could defer on the factory 36k warr in turn for another 1k off the purchase price. They looked at me puzzled and asked "why would you want to do that?".
