I agree, I think they just passed a law to where people can hunt big game with the 223's. I know in Ga you couldn't at one time not sure now. I prefer a bigger cal but I'm not going to knock anyone shooting them. I know a lot of people that use a 22-250 just a few more PFS than a 223. If you watch a prairie dog explode the bullet dose the same thing on the inside of a bigger animal. makes it all mush.

Yea i threw a 22-250 together with a 9 twist barrel that shoots (80gr Bergers / 3200fps) amazingly well. .5moa at 600yds..
It does some nasty damage to a deer. that thin jacket disrupts some kinda bad and soft tissue damage is massive..

Nice, I had a savage mdl12 RBLP LRPV in 22-250 it was nasty out to 600 yards with 70gr Berger.

Wow.. a 7 twist .22-250? they called me crazy for goin to a 9 twist cause it was a fast twist.

yeah, it was a fast twist. It was the target action right bolt left port. The trigger was at 6 ounces. It was a true tack driver. This was a 20 round group @100 yards off front and back bags.I have had and built a few one hole rifles but this was out of the ordinary.
