Well, narrowing my search some. I was on vacation the last few days last week and went to my parents house. There is a big gun shop near their place. Went, looked, handled a several rifles.

I may wind up, picking up a couple of rifles. I really like the Savage 93R17 TRR-SR .17 HMR for a smaller varmint rifle, already has the tri-rail on it, and cheap to shoot and easy to add the bipod and some optics to.

I also handled several AR's from .223/556/9mm, just not sure I want to go with an AR Platform. I really liked the FNAR 16" heavy .308 and the Benelli MR1 pistol-grip rifle .223/556.

Still waning to handle a Beretta CX4 Storm and Ruger Mini 14 Tactical for surebefore I make my decision on the other rifle, but I'm pretty sure I will be picking up the Savage .17 HMR along with whatever I decide.
